David Pick – ex- Vintage TV CEO

David Pick is the founder and CEO of Vintage TV.

Vintage TV is the music-lover’s channel of choice. We have exclusive album review shows, artist interviews, festivals, concerts, studio sessions and a unique archive of vintage videos.

Vintage TV is a very special television service: the first channel to offer quality music from across the decades – it’s the Soundtrack to the 20th Century. Since I launched the channel on 1st September 2010, we’ve attracted a weekly domestic audience in excess of 700,000, often more than a million. We’ve been adopted by pubs, clubs, health centres, university canteens and hair salons!

As a platform for 20th century talent, we’re attracting an extraordinary array of guests who wish to promote a new album, a concert tour or, quite simply, have fascinating stories to tell. So far, the diverse range of personalities appearing on Vintage TV includes Sir Cliff Richard, Robbie Robertson, Toyah Willcox, Duane Eddy, Daniel O’Donnell, Ruby Turner, Bruce Welch, Elaine Paige, Chris de Burgh, Geno Washington, Kim Wilde, Donovan, Glen Matlock, Steve Harley, Paul Young, Todd Rundgren, Chris Difford, Jools Holland, Suzi Quatro, Holly Johnson, Katie Melua, Kiki Dee, Tom Robinson, Mark Owen, Cara Dillon, Steve Hackett, Billy Ocean, Sandie Shaw and Clare Grogan.

Vintage TV is gaining loyal fans from every age band and across all demographic groups – most of whom have never previously been viewers of music television. The quantity of Facebook messages, emails and Tweets grows every month, almost everyone praising the channel’s output.

As we race through our fourth year, the channel has already initiated a new online streaming service (with 7-day catch-up and a 500-hour VOD library), launched its app
(for Apple: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/vintage-tv/id731406211?ls=1&mt=8;
for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tv.vintage), begun closing deals for international roll-out and established an exciting slate of new productions.
